Ingredients:
Bread:
- 1 loaf Italian bread
- ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 tsp garlic salt
Sloppy Joe:
- 1 lb ground beef
- ¼ cup yellow onion, chopped
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp yellow mustard
- ¾ cup ketchup
- ½ tsp kosher salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- ½ cup water
Topping:
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1 cup sharp cheddar, shredded
- Parsley, chopped for garnish
Directions:
- Preheat Oven: Preheat to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Prepare Bread: Slice the loaf lengthwise into two halves. Place on the baking sheet, cut side up, and spread with a mixture of softened butter and garlic salt.
